The Standing Ovation Fund
June 26, 2026, will commemorate 100 years of the Arcadia Theatre, a cherished centerpiece of Kerrville. Beautifully and lovingly restored in 2020, the Arcadia is now a vibrant music venue and cultural gathering place – hosting free monthly community events, drawing crowds, supporting local businesses, and breathing new life into Downtown.
Together with you our members and patrons we can secure the Arcadia Theatre’s future for the next 100 years. Diana and Larry Howard are generously matching donor contributions dollar for dollar through their philanthropic fund at The Community Foundation.
We began this mission a few months ago and paused to prioritize our community after the
flood. We have re-launched the Standing Ovation fund. Our original goal was $150,000 and thanks to many of you only $28,000 remains. Reaching this goal allows us to continue providing live music, movies, free community entertainment such as trivia and bingo as well as a beautiful setting and location for weddings and private events.
Without you, our theatre wouldn’t be able to bring live and diverse cultural events to downtown Kerrville and the Hill Country, leaving a legacy on our town for generations to come.
